Connor Mahoney has signed his first professional contract with Blackburn Rovers.

The highly-rated forward penned the deal on February 12 - his 17th birthday - after becoming Rovers' third youngest ever debutant when he came on against Manchester City in the FA Cup third-round replay on January 15, aged just 16 years and 337 days.

Connor started his career at Accrington but earned a move to Rovers in December and played for England's Under-17s against Belgium at St. George's Park a month later.
