Reading have won their appeal against Kaspars Gorkss' dismissal after the FA overturned the decision to award him a four-game suspension.

The Royals queried the decision to dismiss the central defender during the trip to his old club QPR, whom Reading eventually beat 3-1.

Following the FA's ruling on Tuesday afternoon, Gorkss will now be available for games against Blackburn, Yeovil, Brighton and Leeds.

It is the second successive match in which Reading have had a player dismissed, only to win their appeal, following Alex Pearce's red card against Sheffield Wednesday.
