Brighton and Hove Albion striker Craig Mackail-Smith has suffered a setback in his recovery from long-term injury.

A groin tear in training has delayed his comeback by at least two weeks.

The Albion forward had been nearing a return after being sidelined since March last year with Achilles and ankle problems.

He had made two appearances for the club's Under-21 Development team as he looked to return to fitness.
