Ishmael Miller has confirmed he left Yeovil Town following a disagreement with boss Gary Johnson.

Glovers fans were shocked to hear that Miller, who netted 10 goals in 19 Championship games, had returned to Nottingham Forest ahead of Saturday's 2-1 win at Blackpool.

But the big striker has wished his former team-mates all the best as they look to stay up without their top scorer.

"After a disagreement with the manager in a team meeting, I felt for the benefit of all parties it was best not to return to the club," Miller told Sky Sports.

"My aim when I initially went there was to score as many goals as possible and obviously keep the club in the Championship, whilst putting myself in the shop window for next season.

"I feel like I contributed significantly with 10 goals in 19 league games and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. They are a great bunch of lads and I genuinely wish them all the best for the remainder of the season."
