Burnley have secured promotion from the Sky Bet Championship, repeating a feat they last achieved in the 2008/09 campaign.

The Clarets' path to the Premier League was confirmed on Monday following their 2-0 wn against Wigan Athletic.

Their three points ensured that even with Derby County beating Barnsley, the Rams could not catch the Lancashire side.

Sean Dyche's men will join leaders Leicester City in the top flight of English football next season with the Foxes having gained promotion earlier in April.

With two games of the season remaining, those two teams are separated by four points in the race to secure the Championship title.
