Nottingham Forest have signed Southampton full-back Danny Fox on a permanent deal.

Fox joined the Sky Bet Championship club on loan in January and has now put pen to paper on a three-year contract at the City Ground.

The 27-year-old former Everton trainee made 15 appearances for the Reds this season and will now prepare to work under in-coming manager Stuart Pearce, who is set to officially take charge on 1st July.

Fox joined Southampton from Burnley in the summer of 2011 and made over 50 appearances for the Saints.
