Steve Wigley has agreed to join the coaching staff at Nottingham Forest alongside incoming manager Stuart Pearce, the club have confirmed.

The former Forest winger recently left his role as Under-18 coach at Fulham to pave the way for a return to the City Ground.

Wigley, who has managed Aldershot and Southampton, was assistant to Pearce at Manchester City and with the England Under-21 squad.

He will be joined by Brian Eastwick, who also worked under Pearce with the Young Lions and when he was in charge of the Team GB football squad at London 2012.

Ex-Forest left-back Pearce is taking over at the club on 1st July after completing his media commitments at this summer's World Cup.
