Birmingham have completed the signing of midfielder Stephen Gleeson from MK Dons.

The 25-year-old Republic of Ireland international, a free agent after his Dons contract expired, has put pen to paper on a two-year deal at St Andrew's.

Gleeson joined the Dons on a permanent basis from Wolves in July 2009 and went on to make 169 appearances, scoring 17 goals.

He becomes Blues manager Lee Clark's third signing of the summer following the arrival of defenders Jonathan Grounds and Grant Hall last week.
