Birmingham City have signed Mark Duffy on a free transfer from Doncaster Rovers.

The 28-year-old winger, who opted to leave Rovers following their relegation to Sky Bet League 1 at the end of last season, has put pen to paper on a two-year deal at St Andrew's.

Duffy made 39 appearances for Doncaster last term and scored twice, having previously played for Morecambe and Scunthorpe United.

He is Blues boss Lee Clark's seventh signing of the summer following the arrivals of Jonathan Grounds, Grant Hall, Stephen Gleeson, Wes Thomas, David Edgar and Gavin Gunning.
