Ipswich Town have signed Norwegian international Jonathan Parr on a free transfer.

Parr joins the Tractor Boys after becoming a free agent following his release by Crystal Palace and has signed a two-year deal at Portman Road, where he will join up with his team-mates in Ireland ahead of their first pre-season game on Saturday.

The 25-year-old full back made over 100 appearances during his time at Palace, including 15 games in the Premier League last season before his release.

Parr is the fourth signing for Ipswich in the summer transfer window, following the deals for Cameron Stewart, Stephen Hunt and Alex Henshall.
