Bolton have signed former Crystal Palace defender Quade Taylor following his release by the Premier League outfit.

The 20-year-old defender was one of a number of players to depart Selhurst Park at the end of the season, but Taylor has quickly found a new home with Wanderers by agreeing a 12-month deal.

Taylor never appeared for Palace's first team and spent time on loan with Welling last season.

He is the third player who was on Palace's books last season to join former Eagles boss Dougie Freedman at the Macron Stadium, following Ross Fitzsimons and Dean Moxey.
