Henri Lansbury has signed a new three-year contract with Nottingham Forest.
Lansbury has ended speculation about his future by extending his stay at the City Ground - the midfielder was recently the subject of a bid from Barclays Premier League newcomers Burnley.
The 23-year-old has yet to make an appearance this season after suffering a knee injury during a pre-season friendly against Porto B last month.
However, Reds boss Stuart Pearce hopes to have him back in his first-team plans soon after he played in a practice match on Thursday afternoon.
This weekend's home game against Reading may come too soon for Lansbury, but the former Arsenal trainee may be included on the bench.
