Leeds have loaned in defender Dario Del Fabro from Cagliari.

The 19-year-old arrives on a season-long deal, subject to international clearance, from the Italian side that were owned by United president Massimo Cellino for the past two seasons.

Del Fabro has made eight appearances for their first team and a sole appearance for Pescara on loan during recent weeks before making the switch to Elland Road.

He becomes their 14th signing of the summer and striker Brian Montenegro is expected to become number 15 when he arrives from Nacional in Paraguay tomorrow.
