Losing to Oldham Athletic [for Grimsby Town], 3-1 I think the score was. It was a home game in the npower Championship and we got a completely out-played.
Who was your childhood hero?
I watched nearly all of Mexico '86. I was 10 and couldn't believe how good Diego Maradona was, so I'd say him.

When I was 16, I had the chance to go to Sheffield United or Grimsby Town - so then I suppose.
Which coach has had the biggest influence on your career?
The reason I chose Grimsby was because of Richard O'Kelly the youth team manager. He was brilliant.

Not a lot, probably petrol.
Does your squad number have a special meaning to you?
No, I've had loads. I've been 14 for six years now so I'll probably stick with that.
Who did you last swap shirts with?
Ian Harte. That's the only time I've done it.
How has the game changed for the better since you became a pro?
I'm not sure it has, too many changes have been made regarding the rules. It needs to be left alone.

Relax in the box.
If you stay in the game at the end of your career, what will you do? a) Manager b) Coach c) Scout d) Physio e) Pundit?
A manager or a coach.
