Ten students from Bournemouth & Poole College took to the pitch at Dean Court to receive their FA Level 1 coaching awards.
A partnership between AFC Bournemouth and the local college means that youngsters have the chance to gain NVQs in sport, recreation and allied occupations.
Bournemouth's Community Sports Trust chief Steve Truss said: "Over the five months of the course, the students have shown great commitment and worked really hard.
"They should all be proud of their achievements. I think they enjoyed being on the pitch with the fans cheering them on."
The inaugural course has proved to be a huge success, with students already gaining the Emergency Aid Award and the FA Safeguarding Children certificate.
Faculty Director Rob Garner added: "During the football coaching programme, the students are actually based with club staff at the stadium.
"It's a fantastic start for those keen to develop a professional career in sports coaching."
