Over 250 school children have taken part in Cardiff City's Community Cup.
A total of 32 six-a-side squads from all over South Wales competed in the free tournament organised by the Cardiff City Community Programme.
Winners Murch Junior School, of Dinas Powys, now go on to represent Cardiff City in the regional finals - with the dream of an appearance at Wembley if they get through.
Bluebirds' Academy graduate Aaron Wildig cast his eye over the youngsters and said: "These tournaments are great. The kids love them, and there are certainly a few talented players down here."
The Bluebirds' Community Programme aims to engage with schools from all over the region to make it possible for more kids to play football.
Community Manager Scott Young said: "The Community Cup is a key part of our ongoing commitment to use football to assist young people to improve their health and educational attainments.
"It's a great opportunity for so many young people from across the area to take part. It is good to see so many schools here."
