Queen's Park Rangers' Community Trust Chairman Amit Bhatia has been honoured at the Change4Life British Asian Sports Awards.
Bhatia collected the Emerald Knight Community Business in Sport Award.
The awards event, at London's Grosvenor Hotel, recognised Bhatia's work in community sports projects.
Last year he competed in a triathlon and raised more than £23,000 for the Trust.
Bhatia, Vice Chairman of parent company QPR Holdings, is also involved with the Mittal Champions Trust, which aims to help India achieve success at the London 2012 Olympics.
Rangers' Community Trust Chief Executive Andy Evans said: "The success of the Trust is linked in no small way to Amit's continued involvement and support.
"His passion for QPR extends beyond what happens on a match day. I have seen that first hand.
"Amit understands the role the club can play in inspiring young people, both domestically and internationally. We are hugely grateful to him for his vision, support and encouragement."
