The Grimsby Town Sports and Education Trust has secured £32,000 funding for the Sport Lincs community project.
The donation has been granted through a Community Cashback scheme, where money obtained through crime is returned to the community to benefit young people.
Sport Lincs is a partnership between the club's Sports and Education Trust, Humberside Police and North East Lincolnshire Council's Sports Development Unit.
Sport Lincs uses sporting activities, including football, to interact with young people who are at risk of becoming involved in crime.
It seeks to improve personal development for young members of the community through positive engagement.
