Leyton Orient are giving local community groups the chance to watch the O's at a discounted rate and share in the proceeds thanks to a new ticketing initiative.

The 50/50 Community Ticket Scheme will allow community groups local to the East London club to purchase group tickets priced at just £10 for adults and £5 for juniors, with one adult ticket thrown in for free for every ten junior tickets bought.

And the proceeds of all ticket sales will be split 50/50 between the O's and the community group giving schools, charities and other groups a keen incentive to get behind their local club.

"We've always taken great pride of our work in the community, and the LOCSP [Leyton Orient Community Sports Programme] has been recognised as one of the best programmes in the country," said O's Chairman Barry Hearn.

"This scheme offers the perfect opportunity for the club to work with our community partners, allowing groups of new supporters to watch live professional football at a discounted rate, as well as helping the community groups themselves.

"We look forward to welcoming them to Brisbane Road over the course of the season."

In 2009, Leyton Orient were named as the League 1 Community Club of the Year and provide 4,500 participation and engagement opportunities every week for young people through the LOCSP.
