Watford stars Martin Taylor and Matt Whichelow dropped in to Sacred Heart School in Bushey to deliver a Hornets master class.
Taylor and Whichelow were on hand to teach new skills and meet the youngsters, who queued up for photos and autographed posters which were handed out by Watford's award-winning Trust.
"It was a fantastic visit and we got some wonderful feedback from the players about how much they had enjoyed the visit to Sacred Heart," said Watford's Trust spokeswoman Anne-Marie Burn.
"It was a real surprise for the children because they didn't know that Martin and Matt were coming, so it was a very exciting day."
Meanwhile, football free styler Lewis Dasso was the star of the show at Watford's Community Sports and Education Trust Awareness day.
Dasso showed off his skills around the pitch before Watford's home game against Hull City, while supporters enjoyed performances by the Trusts talented dance troupe.
Young fans enjoyed the popular speed shot challenge, giving children the chance to test the speed of their shots.
Winners from the skill challenges were invited on the pitch at half time to collect their prize which was a signed Watford shirt.
