Sheffield United's community work has been recognised at a national awards ceremony.
The club was shortlisted in the Professional Sports Club Community Programme of the Year category of the Sports Club of the Year (S.C.O.T.Y) awards.
The npower Championship's Watford F.C lifted the first prize but Sheffield United were singled out for recognition with a certificate to mark their achievements.
Sue Beeley, Sheffield United's Head of Community, said: "We are very proud of the work we are doing in the community so to be recognised at this level in this category is a fantastic achievement."
Other nominees in the category were Leicester Tigers, Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club and Sunderland FC.
