Tranmere Centre of Excellence player Ollie Nugent has achieved the remarkable feat of being called up for England's Under-21 Cerebral Palsy squad - despite being just 13 years old.
Ollie, who is a member of Rovers' under-14 side, has been with the Club since the age of 8.
The central midfielder, from Wirral, is coached by Paul O'Brien, Robbie Mills and Steve Reddy and will join up with the Under-21 CP squad in August.
Tranmere Head of Youth & Centre of Excellence Shaun Garnett commented: "I'm delighted for Ollie, it's a great achievement for him.
"He's worked really hard over the last few years and deserves this opportunity.
"It's always an honour for a player to be selected to represent his country and I wish Ollie the best of luck in the tournament."
