Four young people from this year's National Citizen Service (NCS) attended an MP's event at the House of Commons on Monday 28th November.

The event was hosted by Nick Hurd, the Minister for Civil Society, and Tim Loughton, Minister for Children and Young Families and was well attended by NCS graduates and MP's from across the country.

The event was designed for young people to feedback information about last year's programme while raising awareness and support from local MP's for the future of the project, which will be returning next summer.

Every young person was invited to speak and Charlton Athletic Community Trust was fantastically well represented by those who attended.

Andy Carpenter, NCS Coordinator, said, 'This MP's event presented a great opportunity for our young people to voice their opinions and share their experiences from this summer's NCS. The young people showed tremendous courage to speak to a room full of MP's and we are, as always, proud of the way they represented the Trust'.
