Tune in to Soccer AM on Saturday to watch the highlights of the final day's action in the last 32 of the Soccer AM Futsal Cup powered by NCS.

Huddersfield Town, Leicester City, Carlisle United, Bradford City and Rochdale took the remaining places in the last 16 as Birmingham Arena played host to Groups 7 and 8.

Huddersfield Town were the dominant side in Group 7, following up their victory over Blackburn Rovers in the opening game with wins over Cheltenham Town and Leicester City.

Despite the defeat to the Terriers, Leicester City took the second qualifying spot having beaten Blackburn and drawn with Cheltenham. Huddersfield will meet Rochdale in the next round while Leicester City take on Notts County.

In Group 8, the top three sides all finished on six points with Rotherham United the unlucky side to miss out on goal difference.

The Millers began with wins over Carlisle United and Southend United but were made to pay for their 5-1 defeat to Bradford City. That result took the Bantams into second spot behind Carlisle United, who recovered from defeat to Rotherham to claim top spot with wins over Bradford City and Southend United.

There was another matter to settle this week as Leyton Orient, Crewe Alexandra and Rochdale returned to Birmingham to decide who would take the second qualifying spot from Group 2. After all three sides finished level on points and goal difference last time around, Rochdale dominated on this occasion recording victories in both of their games.

Soccer AM Futsal Cup powered by NCS is comprised of student-players participating in The Football League Trust Education & Futsal programme.

The programme provides 16 to 18-year-olds with the chance to score both on and off the pitch, as they study towards a BTEC Diploma in Sport with their local professional clubs' community scheme.

Graduates of the programme often progress to University, overseas football scholarships and careers within the vibrant sports industry. Football lovers moving into sixth-form education are encouraged to apply, as places start to fill up for next season at over 50 clubs across the country.
