Established in 2006, The Football League Awards is an annual gala event which celebrates excellence both on and off the pitch. The event attracts players, managers and staff from League clubs as well as sponsors, partners and those wishing to celebrate everything Football League.

The event is the first major football awards of the season and has a clear point of difference from other ceremonies, which focus exclusively on players and managers. Categories include Fan of the Year, Community Club of the Year, Goal of the Year and new category for 2013 Best Use of Digital. And are judged by panels of experts from the industry and media.
