Anthony Kleanthous was the youngest Chairman in The Football League when he joined Barnet at the age of 28 nearly 15 years ago - a multi-millionaire entrepreneur who wanted a club of his own to put something back into football.
Despite relegation for the Bees to the Football Conference in 2001, and average attendances hundreds below the break-even figure of 3,000, he has persevered with his ambition of moving the Bees forward.
Barnet, under the guidance of father-of-four Kleanthous, has a good reputation as a debt-free, family club with £1.2 million invested in recent seasons on bringing the club's Underhill home for the past 100 years up to the necessary Football League criteria.
Previously Kleanthous was a director of the Conference for three years and has served on a number of League committees including The Football League Trophy Working Party and the Criteria Working Party.
