Football League clubs from across England and Wales are backing this year's Sport Relief campaign to encourage the nation to unite in getting active, raising cash and changing lives.

The annual sports donation drive by the general public helps transform the lives of poor and vulnerable people, both in the UK and across the world's poorest countries.

And this year all 72 Football League outfits have clubbed together to pledge their support for the campaign with players wearing and warming up in unique Sport Relief t-shirts - designed by the Beckhams - whilst features have appeared in club programmes and websites.

"I would like to thank clubs throughout The Football League for all their fantastic support for the Sport Relief campaign so far," said Greg Baker, Football Partnership Manager at Sport Relief.

"They have embraced it in their droves and this will hopefully enthuse many of their fans to help make this the biggest and best Sport Relief campaign yet.

"Every single penny raised will go directly to fund projects in the UK and across the world's poorest countries, so I'd urge all fans to get involved!"

The Sport Relief Weekend is being held from Friday 19 to Sunday 21 March and promises to be three whole days of energy, entertainment and events for everyone to enjoy. From the Friday of fundraising fun, a night of cracking TV on BBC One, right through to the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile on Sunday - it promises to be a brilliant weekend.

Hundreds of miles will be run over the weekend in the name of Sport Relief and many of The Football League's community teams will be in attendance at their local Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile to run soccer skills challenges, so why not go along and test your skills.

You may even see Milo, the Sport Relief kids' mascot, on the pitch at a stadium near you soon!
