The Football League and its Official Charity Partner for the 2012/13 season, Prostate Cancer UK, are calling on male supporters to grow a moustache in support of Movember (the month formerly known as November), the moustache growing charity event.
Each season, Movember raises awareness and millions of pounds for men's health with Prostate Cancer UK being Movember's prime beneficiary partner in the UK.
With the support of its 72 clubs, The Football League and Prostate Cancer UK are aiming to raise both money and awareness of prostate cancer and promote a positive message for men's health. One in nine men will develop prostate cancer at some stage in their life and every hour someone dies from the disease.
We're now a week into Movember and the Football League network leaderboard is starting to take shape. BlueMoses lead the way with Oxford United and Dagenham and Redbridge sitting second and third respectively.
The Football League currently sit 14th, sandwiched between Leicester City and Leyton Orient.
