A mouth watering double-header awaits fans of the Championship this weekend with two live matches being shown on Saturday and Sunday.

First up on Saturday at 5:20pm, in-form Doncaster Rovers face high-flying Birmingham City in a match certain to provide entertainment at the Keepmoat Stadium.

After enduring an awful start to the season, which saw them rooted to the bottom of the league for some considerable amount of time, Doncaster have since gone on to surprise everyone by turning the Keepmoat into a fortress, losing just one of their home matches since the start of November.

Seven wins in their last 10 matches has shown that Rovers have rediscovered the form which saw them promoted from League 1 last season, and if the results keep coming, a late surge on the Play-Offs could be a real possibility.

The Blues have recently picked up their form after a below-par February saw them pick up one win in four matches. Two back-to-back 1-0 wins against Bristol City and then Southampton last week have put Alex McLeish's side firmly on the trial of Wolverhampton Wanderers once again. Although after Tuesday's draw with Barnsley, Birmingham are still looking for their first away win since Boxing day.

Then on Sunday afternoon at 1:30pm, Cardiff City make the short trip to take on Bristol City at Ashton Gate.

The Robins lie one place outside the Play-Off positions, level on points with sixth place Swansea and enjoyed a 2-0 win over Coventry City at their home ground on Tuesday night.

That victory over the Sky Blues was their first in four matches having lost two on the bounce and drawing another, but Gary Johnson's side will be confident going into this game as December was the last time they suffered defeat on home turf.

The Bluebirds currently lie in 5th place, but have three games in hand over most of their rivals in the Championship. Manager Dave Jones will be hoping Tuesday's rather unexpected 2-0 defeat to Norwich City was a one-off.

Cardiff's away form has paled in comparison to their record at Ninian Park, and the Welsh side are searching for their first away win since Janaury. The last match between the two sides ended 0-0, and both teams will be eager to set the record straight on Sunday afternoon.
