A triple bill of Coca-Cola Championship matches will be televised live on Sky Sports this weekend as six teams, all gunning for promotion, feature over Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

First up at 5:20pm on Saturday, Preston North End journey south to take on Bristol City at Ashton Gate.

With only three points separating the two sides, the Robins have a chance to catch Preston by winning this weekend. Gary Johnson's side have slumped in recent weeks but are still unbeaten at home since December, putting together an eight match unbeaten streak in the process.

Their opponents will be looking for their first away win since early January. The Lilywhites are without an away win in six matches and have only managed to win three games away from Deepdale all season. However, Alan Irvine's team are unbeaten in their last three matches, as his side bid to force their way back into the top six this weekend.

The following morning, you'll have to be up bright and early if you want to catch two of the fiercest rivals go head-to-head, as the South Wales derby between Cardiff City and Swansea City takes place at Ninian Park on Sunday at 11am.

The Bluebirds go into the match in sixth place, five points above their arch-rivals, who currently lie in eighth. The club had gone five home matches unbeaten until they faced Sheffield United in their last match, where two sendings off in the first half saw Dave Jones' side slip to a 3-0 defeat.

Roberto Martinez's men look set to face an uphill struggle to take all three points on Sunday. The Swans haven't won away from the Liberty Stadium for six matches, their last away win came in the opening game of 2009 against Burnley. However, the club have only lost one of their last four away matches, and will be desperate to take victory on their rivals' home turf.

Finally, at 7:45pm on Monday evening, it's another local derby and a hugely anticipated top-of-the-table clash between Birmingham City and Wolverhampton Wanderers, live from the St. Andrew's Stadium.

The Blues are five points behind Wolves in second place and have enjoyed a decent run of form in recent weeks. Alex McLeish's side are unbeaten in their last five matches and have picked up 11 points out of a possible 15 in that time, keeping them above Reading inside the automatic promotion places. The club are also unbeaten at home in their last eight matches and will be within touching distance of top spot if they win on Monday night.

Like their opponents, Wolves are also unbeaten in their last five matches but have managed to pick up one more victory than their Midlands rivals. With the best away record in the league, and three wins in their last three away matches as well as being equipped with the league's top scorer Sylvan Ebanks-Blake - providing he recovers from his calf injury in time, Mick McCarthy's side will go into Monday evening's derby full of confidence.

Sandwiched in the middle of these games is the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final, where Scunthorpe United take on Luton Town at Wembley. The match kicks off a 1,15pm on Sunday, live on Sky Sports.
