It's that time of the week again when we get all statistical about the Coca-Cola Football League. This week we take a look at the players that have been wearing their shooting boots so far this season.
CHAMPIONSHIP
In the Championship Bristol City's Nicky Maynard racked up the most shots with 34 on target and a further 13 missing the target.
Crystal Palace striker Darren Ambrose has had 47 shots so far this season which include 27 on target; eight of which he has scored, 17 off target and three hitting the post or crossbar.
It is no surprise to see that Cardiff City striker Michael Chopra is in the top three with the league top scorer totalling 28 on target, scoring 11 with 14 off target and five hitting the woodwork.
LEAGUE 1
Jermaine Beckford leads the way in League 1 with the Leeds United striker producing a massive total of 77 shots at goal so far this season with 36 on target, 35 off target and six hitting the woodwork.
Second in the shots list is Norwich City's Grant Holt who has produced 26 on target, 23 off the mark with one hitting the post.
Denis Behan is in third place on the shot-o-meter with 25 being on target, 20 off target and two hitting the woodwork for the Hartlepool United striker.
LEAGUE 2
Bournemouth striker Brett Pitman equals League 1's highest shooter with 77 shots at goal; 36 hitting the target, 37 going wide of the mark and four striking the woodwork.
Chris Dagnall is the second most active shooter in the league with the Rochdale forward getting 35 shots on target scoring nine and missing 16 times.
In third position is Accrington Stanley front-man Robert Grant who has produced a total of 50 shots for his side which includes 26 on target, 20 off target and hitting the woodwork four times.
