There is only game involving Football League teams live on TV this week which is an exciting Johnstone's Paint Trophy showdown that will see the winners earn a place at Wembley in the final.
On Monday night the cameras will descend upon Boundary Park for the second leg of the Northern Area Final as Oldham Athletic play host to Chesterfield.
The Spireites currently lead 2-1 after an important victory at the b2net Stadium. Scott Boden opened the scoring for the home side after converting a James Hurst cross before Robbie Simpson's spectacular equaliser for Oldham.
But then Danny Whitaker struck a penalty for Chesterfield to give his side the edge over their fellow npower League 1 club.
Oldham manager Paul Dickov has been calling on fans to make home advantage count ahead of the game which could make it even more intimidating for a Chesterfield side that has lost nine out of a possible 14 on their travels this season.
The last time these clubs met at Boundary Park was back in November in a very one-sided affair which saw Oldham romp to a 5-2 win. Robbie Simpson was in impressive form and scored a 21-minute hat-trick as Athletic went on to crush the visitors.
But bottom of the table Chesterfield will go into the game with real confidence as they are undefeated in their last three matches, not to mention the string sense of self-belief as a result the first leg win.
It's obvious to say that both sets of players, coaching staff and fans will not want to miss out on a trip to Wembley and will certainly give it their all in what could be a very exciting and pulsating cup tie.
