York City have secured a return to The Football League after beating Luton Town 2-1 in the Blue Square Bet Premier Play-Off Final on Sunday.

The Minstermen have been luckless in their last two Play-Off campaigns, losing in the semi-final in 2007 and the final in 2010, but it was third time lucky as goals from Ashley Chambers and Matty Blair fired them to victory.

Winning promotion via the Play-Offs wraps up a fantastic season for Gary Mills and his side, with the 2012 FA Trophy also in their cabinet.

York will join Fleetwood Town in League 2 after they were promoted as Champions of the Blue Square Bet Premier.
