There's an action-packed weekend coming up in The Football League and three matches will be hitting your screens live on Sky Sports over the next four days.

The excitement begins on Thursday night as Leyton Orient host London rivals Brentford in npower League 1.

The two sides have experienced very different beginnings to the campaign but both will be hungry for three points when the game kicks off at 7.45pm.

Brentford have had a steady start, with eight points on the board from their opening five matches, while Orient sit down in 21st, with just three points from their first four fixtures.

Despite their contrasting league positions, both sides do come into the encounter off the back of victories. The Bees were 1-0 winners at home to Colchester United last weekend, while Russell Slade's men picked up a 1-0 victory away at Swindon Town - their first three-point haul of the League season so far.

24 hours later, on Friday, there's another all-London tie live on Sky Sports as Crystal Palace travel the short distance to play Charlton Athletic at The Valley.

Just two points separate the sides in the npower Championship at this early stage of the season but it's likely to be an interesting encounter.

The Eagles finally got off the mark last time around as they beat Sheffield Wednesday 2-1, while the Addicks lost against Nottingham Forest by the same scoreline.

Historically, Palace have the upper hand in the rivalry but over the last few years it has been Charlton who have come out on top. In the eight meetings between the two since 2000, the Eagles have two wins to their name, whilst the Addicks have managed five victories - the latest being a 1-0 success in 2009.

Then, on Sunday, the Sky Sports cameras are off to the Molineux as Wolverhampton Wanderers host Leicester City in a 1.15pm kick-off.

Stale Solbakken's Wolves have struggled to adapt to life in the npower Championship after relegation from the top flight last term and they currently lie 19th, with four points from four games.

The Foxes are just two points better off but they will be buoyed by the 1-0 victory they recorded over table-topping Blackpool last time out.

The two sides haven't met since 2007 and, during that season, both of the games ended level.
