The npower Championship is back following the international break, and it's back with a bang with two live derbies on Sky Sports this weekend.

First up, there's an all-Yorkshire affair on Friday night as Leeds United travel to Hillsborough to take on Sheffield Wednesday in a 7.45pm kick-off.

Neil Warnock's Leeds are flying high and sit seventh with 17 points from their opening 10 games. The Owls, meanwhile, are struggling. Following promotion from npower League 1 last season, Dave Jones' men have picked up eight points from their first 10 matches back in the npower Championship.

They have gained just one point from their last seven fixtures but will take confidence from the fact that the two wins they have this term have both come on home soil. A victory against Leeds would certainly lift the spirits at the club.

Leeds will travel with momentum, having won three of their last four, but will be mindful of the last time they played Wednesday, back in 2007, when the Owls ran out 3-2 victors.

The next derby comes just under 24 hours later as Burnley welcome Blackpool to Turf Moor for a 5.20pm kick-off on Saturday.

It's been an eventful last couple of weeks for the Clarets with boss Eddie Howe returning to his former club, npower League 1 side Bournemouth.

Youth team coach Terry Pashley has been handed control of first-team matters on a caretaker basis while the club goes in search of a new boss and he will hope to make an instant impact against their Lancashire rivals.

Blackpool come into the match following a run of one win and three losses from their last four, while Burnley have won one, lost one and drawn two of their last four.

Expect goals in this one; there has been four goals in each of the last two fixtures between the two sides. Two of the League's most prolific marksmen will be on show, too, with Burnley's Charlie Austin, who has 12 League goals already this term, and Blackpool's Tom Ince likely to feature.
