There's plenty of npower Championship action in The Football League this weekend and two games are being screened live on Sky Sports.

On Friday, there's a clash between two sides at either ends of the division as second-placed Middlesbrough welcome Sheffield Wednesday, who sit 20th, to the Riverside Stadium for a 7.45pm kick-off.

With a win, the Boro could claim top spot in the division, while a victory for Dave Jones' Owls would lift them one place but, more importantly, three points further away from the dreaded bottom three.

The two sides have met just three times since the turn of the century, all of which have been won by Middlesbrough.

On Saturday, local bragging rights will be on the line as Leicester City host Nottingham Forest in a 12.45 kick-off.

The two sides will be hungry for a win to aid their respective promotion pushes which could make it an interesting derby.

Leicester currently sit fifth and Forest lie 11th, that could change considerably come full-time on Saturday, though, with the npower Championship table very congested at the top.

The Foxes have the upper hand in the standings but they haven't won in three. Forest, meanwhile, have lost just once in seven games. They haven't tasted victory in their last two outings, though.
