A South Yorkshire derby that promises to be a cracker and a cup tie that is likely to be a classic; this week's television games are certainly not to be missed.

All the action starts on Saturday evening as Sheffield Wednesday travel to Barnsley in a 5.20pm kick-off.

Both teams come into the match occupying a place in the npower Championship relegation zone - the Owls sitting 23rd and Barnsley lying 22nd, three points better off - but that could all change come full-time.

A victory for either side could move them out of the bottom three, depending on earlier results, highlighting the importance of this fixture, and that's before bragging rights are even considered.

Then, on Wednesday night, the Capital One Cup returns for what looks set to be another pulsating clash as Leeds United host Premier League Chelsea at 7.45pm.

As Bradford City proved against Arsenal, anybody can beat anybody when it comes to the Capital One Cup, and Leeds will not fear the travelling Blues.

It is in fact Leeds who have the upper hand in the historical form - with 39 wins compared to Chelsea's 26 - but the two sides haven't locked horns since a Premier League fixture in May 2004.

Don't be surprised if Neil Warnock's men pull off an upset to reach the last four.
