There's another busy week of live Football League action coming up with four matches being screened live on Sky Sports.

There's an npower Championship double-header at the weekend, with Leicester City and Middlesbrough first up on Friday evening at 7.45pm.

It's a significant match at the top of the Championship table with both sides currently in the Play-Off zone locked on 47 points. A win for either would lift them into the automatic promotion places as second-placed Hull City are just two points better off, and the Tigers are in action on Saturday.

Expect a tight encounter in front of the cameras, as six of the last nine meetings between Middlesbrough and Leicester have ended level. The Foxes won the other three of those nine matches, with Boro's last victory against the Midlands outfit coming in March 2002, when both were in the top flight.

On Saturday, at 5.20pm, it's the turn of Blackpool and Championship leaders Cardiff City, who meet at Bloomfield Road.

The Bluebirds have opened up an eight-point lead at the summit of the division and they will be eager to maintain, if not stretch, that advantage against the Tangerines, who sit 15th.

At the time of writing, the Seasiders were without a manager. If they are still managerless come Saturday evening, the match could make interesting viewing with players keen to impress any incoming boss.

Don't be too down-hearted when the weekend's Football League action comes to close, as the Capital One Cup returns for the all-important semi-final second legs.

On Tuesday, Aston Villa welcome Bradford City to Villa Park. The npower League 2 Bantams have a healthy two-goal lead after winning the first leg 3-1, but can they hold on to that away from home to advance into the showpiece final at Wembley?

Swansea City also have a two-goal lead in the other semi-final, against Chelsea, as they won 2-0 at Stamford Bridge. The Swans will certainly be confident of making the final, particularly as they have held the Blues to two draws in the two games they have played against them at the Liberty Stadium.
