Following the excitement of the Capital One Cup this week, we have a live npower League 2 double-header for you to enjoy.

The action starts on Thursday as two sides at either end of the table go head-to-head, with high-flying Port Vale visiting AFC Wimbledon.

Micky Adams' Valiants are currently top the League 2 table and will want to stretch their one-point lead with a win against the Wombles, who will be desperate for the three points for very different reasons. Neal Ardley's men sit in the relegation zone, but three points would lift them out of the bottom two.

The two sides have only ever met twice, both last season, and AFC Wimbledon were the victors on both occasions. They triumphed 2-1 at Vale Park in January, having won 3-2 at home against the Valiants in September 2011.

Then, on Monday, it's the turn of Devon rivals Exeter City and Torquay United. The Grecians sit fourth coming into the tie and will want to climb back into the automatic promotion places with a win against their neighbours.

Martin Ling's Torquay have slipped down the division recently and now find themselves 17th, looking over their shoulders at the sides battling against relegation at the foot of the table. Three points would ease any fears they may have, but will be tough to come by against Exeter.

The two sides met for the first time since 2008 just a couple of weeks back when they drew 1-1 at Plainmoor. Rene Howe put the Gulls in front from the spot but Alan Gow secured a point for the Grecians with a penalty five minutes from time.
