There's plenty of live football to look forward to on Sky Sports this week with an npower League 1 double-header, as well as a Johnstone's Paint Trophy Area Final second leg.

The first instalment comes on Friday night as Tranmere Rovers and Shrewsbury Town lock horns at Prenton Park.

Bournemouth's victory last time out removed Tranmere from top spot but they can reclaim their place at the summit with a victory against the Shrews, which certainly adds a little spice to the fixture.

Graham Turner's men won't be pushovers, though, as they will be desperate for the points to stave off any threat of relegation - they currently sit four points above the bottom four.

On Monday, it's the turn of Crawley Town and Doncaster Rovers, who meet at the Broadfield Stadium.

By the time Monday comes around, second-placed Doncaster could be as low as fifth. However, if current leaders Bournemouth fail to win on Saturday, Brian Flynn's men will have the chance to move to the summit in the live fixture.

Crawley, meanwhile, have been somewhat inconsistent of late and find themselves sitting 15th in the table. They are 12 points adrift of the Play-Offs, and 12 points above the relegation zone.

After the League 1 double-header is wrapped up, the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Area Finals are set to come to a conclusion on Wednesday, with the Southern Final second leg between Southend United and Leyton Orient being screened live on Sky Sports.

The first leg at the Matchroom Stadium ended in Southend's favour, with Ryan Leonard scoring the only goal of the game for Paul Sturrock's team.

The League 1 O's will be desperate to turn that around and earn their place in the final at Wembley, which could make very interesting viewing.
