Things are starting to get interesting at either end of the npower Championship table, and the first of two live television games this weekend sees two teams do battle for three points for very contrasting reasons.

Watford are flying high in second and will want to strengthen their promotion bid on Friday night with a win against Wolverhampton Wanderers, who are fighting for their lives at the foot of the table.

Wolves are embroiled in a relegation battle and sit 22nd, two points adrift of safety, coming into this weekend's fixture list.

On Saturday, at 5.20pm, Play-Off chasing Nottingham Forest travel to Sheffield Wednesday.

Billy Davies' Forest have won their last two matches to get back into the Play-Off mix and another three points would move them closer to the top six - they currently trail Brighton and Hove Albion, who sit in the lowest Play-Off place, by four points.

The Owls, meanwhile, remain in danger towards the bottom but are now five points clear of the drop zone having gone seven games unbeaten.
