Accrington Stanley provided one of the Capital One Cup Round 1 shocks by beating Sky Bet Championship side Middlesbrough 2-1 and they will hope to build on that result in Saturday's 12:15pm kick-off against Portsmouth in Sky Bet League 2 action live on Sky Sports.
James Beattie's Stanley opened the season with a 4-1 defeat at Football League newcomers Newport County, but bounced back in the Cup with goals from Marcus Carver and Piero Mingoia.
Portsmouth were also on the wrong end of a 4-1 scoreline last weekend. Patrick Agyemang gave Pompey a lead in their first match in the fourth tier of English football since 1980 but braces from Oxford United pair Deane Smalley and Alfie Potter ensured the U's took all three points.
The two teams have only met on three occasions and Saturday's game will be the first League encounter. Portsmouth are undefeated against Accrington and they won the most recent match 4-1 back in 1959.
The Sky Sports cameras are back in Football League action on Sunday for Leicester City and Leeds United's 4:30pm start. Both sides will be aiming to make it back-to-back League wins when they meet at the King Power Stadium after registering 2-1 wins on the opening weekend of the season.
Nigel Pearson's Foxes went behind against Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium but second-half goals from Danny Drinkwater and Jamie Vardy secured the three points, while summer signing Luke Murphy scored a 90th-minute winner for the Whites against Brighton and Hove Albion (pictured).
Leicester and Leeds have enjoyed a number of battles over the years with the Elland Road outfit holding the advantage with 47 wins, compared to Leicester's 40. Leeds will also take confidence from last season's results having taken four points over the two encounters with the Seagulls.
