This week's televised Football League fixture on Sky Sports promises to be a real cracker, with Sky Bet Championship table-toppers Burnley travelling to fellow high-flyers Leicester City for a 12:15pm kick-off on Saturday.

The Clarets ended a five-match winless run by beating lowly Barnsley 1-0 last time out and that lifted them back to the summit, replacing Leicester, who slipped to third.

Nigel Pearson's men have suffered back-to-back defeats, against Sheffield Wednesday and Brighton and Hove Albion, but they are only a point adrift of their opponents, adding spice to the fixture.

All that on top of the fact that Leicester have seven wins from their nine home matches so far, losing just once, while Burnley are the second best travellers in the division, with 17 points chalked up from nine away games.

Two Sky Bet Championship promotion-chasers going head-to-head for three vital points in front of the Sky Sports cameras - the perfect way to get Saturday's Football League schedule under way.

The Capital One Cup then returns in midweek with two televised Round 5 ties.

On Tuesday, at 7:45pm, Sunderland host Chelsea, while Manchester United visit Stoke City 24 hours later.

The match at the Stadium of Light between Sunderland and Chelsea is a repeat of the recent Premier League fixture - a thriller that the Blues eventually won 4-3. That was their 57th league triumph against Sunderland, but the three cup meetings between the two have all been won by the Black Cats.

Manchester United and Stoke have also clashed this season in the Premier League and it was David Moyes' men who grabbed the victory, coming from behind to win 3-2.

The result took United's unbeaten run against Stoke to 12 games - the Potters' last victory against the Old Trafford outfit came in the League Cup in September 1993.
