It's here. Fixture release day. The matches for the 2014/15 Sky Bet Football League season have been announced and fans can now officially start looking forward to the new campaign.

The first round of games will get under way on Saturday 9th August and we took a look at the opening day matches for the new teams in each division.

In the Sky Bet Championship, all three clubs that were relegated from the Premier League begin their 2014/15 campaign with away fixtures.

Norwich City face an opening day clash at last season's Sky Bet League 1 champions Wolverhampton Wanderers, while Cardiff City make the journey to Blackburn Rovers and Fulham travel to Suffolk for an encounter with Ipswich Town.

Wolves were promoted automatically alongside Brentford, who start their first season in English football's second tier for 21 years with a London-derby against Charlton Athletic.

Rotherham United were the Sky Bet League 1 Play-Off winners, and they begin away at Derby County, beaten in the Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Final 24 hours before the Millers' Wembley success.

Two of the three teams who were relegated to Sky Bet League 1, Yeovil Town and Doncaster Rovers, will come together on the opening day at Huish Park. The other team to drop down from the Sky Bet Championship was Barnsley, and the Tykes are at home to Crawley Town.

Of the teams promoted into the third tier, two are at home and two on the road. Fleetwood Town, Sky Bet League 2 Play-Off winners, face Crewe Alexandra and Rochdale are at home to Peterborough United, who reached the Sky Bet League 1 Play-Off Semi-Finals in May.

Posh were defeated by in the Play-Offs by Leyton Orient, who went on to lose in the Final, and the O's will host Sky Bet League 2 champions Chesterfield. At the same time, Scunthorpe United will kick-off in Wiltshire at Swindon Town.

Luton Town and Cambridge United are the two teams to have progressed out of non-league last season, back in The Football League for the first time in five and nine seasons respectively.

On Saturday 9th August, the Hatters will make the long trip north to Carlisle United - one of the four relegated teams - with the U's hosting Plymouth Argyle.

Stevenage and Tranmere Rovers, joining Carlisle in the fourth tier, also have home fixtures to look forward to on opening day. Boro welcome Hartlepool United to the Lamex Stadium and Rovers host York City at Prenton Park.

Shrewsbury Town are the only team relegated from Sky Bet League 1 during 2013/14 to begin life in Sky Bet League 2 away from home. Micky Mellon's Shrews are at AFC Wimbledon.

Finally, Oxford United have been handed a home tie on the opening day for the first time since returning to The Football League in 2010. They've been drawn against Burton Albion.
