GOALS GALORE

There was a real treat of goals at Stadiummk as Milton Keynes Dons hosted Carlisle United in this midweek Coca-Cola League 1 fixture.

The Dons were 3-0 down after only 20 minutes with a Vincent Pericard double and an early goal from Kevan Hurst giving the visitors the lead.

Paul Ince's side then clawed their way back into the game after Luke Chadwick's double and a strike from Sam Baldock brought the scores level but then United sealed a 4-3 victory thanks to midfielder Joe Anyinsah.

Charlton Athletic and Bristol Rovers also cooked up a thriller at The Valley with the home side eventually coming out on top 4-2.

The home side went ahead through on-loan striker Dave Mooney and Deon Burton before the away team drew level with goals from Jeff Hughes and Chris Lines but second-half strikes from Nicky Bailey and Akpo Sodje secured a win for Phil Parkinson's team.
