Southend United have been relegated from Coca-Cola League 1 after they failed to beat Oldham Athletic at Boundary Park.
The Shrimpers came from behind twice to earn a point but it wasn't enough to prevent them from going down.
Oldham took the lead after just two minutes through Danny Whitaker but Francis Laurent got the visitors back level just four minutes later but Dave Penney's side went in 2-1 up at the break after Paul Black scored his first senior goal.
With just 15 minutes to go Southend were back level again as Jean-Yves Mvoto scored his first goal for the club but it couldn't prevent them joining Stockport County in League 2 next season.
