Brighton & Hove Albion Manager Gus Poyet has been named npower League 1 Manager of the Month for March.
Poyet's side recorded eight wins from eight league games during the month, which has been seen only twice before in Football League history.
Former Charlton Athletic boss Alan Curbishley chairs the npower Manager of the Month judging panel.
He said: "To win eight games in a row at such a crucial stage of the season is a remarkable achievement.
"Brighton are enjoying a fantastic run as their march towards the npower Championship continues."
npower Head of Sponsorship Emma Collins said: "Gus Poyet led his side through a truly incredible month.
"To take maximum points from eight games is a wonderful feat.
"I'd like to congratulate Gus on behalf of npower, and wish him and the team the best of luck for the rest of the season."
In the Championship, Watford's Malky Mackay was named npower Manager of the Month.
The npower League 2 Manager of the Month Award went to Aldershot Town boss Dean Holdsworth.
The judging panel comprises former Charlton Athletic Manager Alan Curbishley, Sky Sports Football League expert Peter Beagrie, Football League Chief Operating Officer Andy Williamson, BBC Sport's Mark Clemmit, League Managers Association Deputy CEO Olaf Dixon and npower Head of Sponsorship Emma Collins.
