Huddersfield Town manager Lee Clark is the npower League 1 Manager of the Month for October.

Clark led his side to second in the table with five wins and a draw during the month.

He said: "The incredible run for Lee Clark's men continued in October as they extended their record-breaking unbeaten run to 41 league games.

"Scoring 16 goals and conceding only two in the month makes this award truly deserved for Lee and his team."

"Lee has got his side attacking with pace and flair, making them one of the most eye-catching teams in The Football League.

"I'd like to congratulate Lee and the team on behalf of npower, and wish them the best of luck for the rest of the season."

The judging panel comprises former Charlton Athletic manager Alan Curbishley, Sky Sports Football League expert Peter Beagrie, Football League Chief Operating Officer Andy Williamson, BBC Sport's Mark Clemmit, League Managers Association Deputy CEO Olaf Dixon and npower Head of Sponsorship Emma Collins.
