Charlton Athletic defender Michael Morrison has been named npower League 1 Player of the Month for November.
Morrison helped keep two clean sheets as the Addicks secured maximum points from their three fixtures. He also scored his first goal for the club in a convincing 5-2 home win over Preston North End.
Charlton boss Chris Powell said: "Michael fully deserves this award. He's been a key part of our squad so far this season.
"He's been ever-present and, while he may not always grab the headlines, every successful team needs a strong spine, which he has helped to provide.
"I look forward to many more high quality performances from him over the coming months."
Sky Sports' Football League expert Peter Beagrie sits on the npower Player of the Month judging panel.
He said: "Michael has been a model of consistency this season, proving to be a rock in the heart of Charlton's defence.
"He was instrumental in the club keeping two clean sheets in three games, including one which helped bring Huddersfield's 43-match unbeaten run to an end."
npower Head of Sponsorship Emma Collins said: "Charlton have scored plenty of goals this season but Michael and the rest of the defence have also played a big part in their success.
"Dominant at the back and a nuisance in the opposition box, Michael played a vital role as The Addicks continued their push for promotion in November.
"On behalf of npower, I'd like to congratulate Michael, and wish him the best of luck for the rest of 2011 - and the season."
The judging panel comprises Sky Sports Football League expert Peter Beagrie, Football League Head of Communications John Nagle, BBC Sport's Mark Clemmit and npower Head of Sponsorship Emma Collins.
