Charlton Athletic manager Chris Powell is the npower League 1 Manager of the Month for February.

Powell led his side to 11 points from a possible 15 with three wins and two draws from their five fixtures.

Former Charlton Athletic boss Alan Curbishley chairs the npower Manager of the Month judging panel.

He said: "Another unbeaten month for Chris Powell and Charlton Athletic who have shown great consistency this season.

"Vital wins against promotion-chasing MK Dons and Stevenage stretched their lead at the top of npower League 1."

npower Head of Sponsorship Emma Collins said: "This is Chris' second consecutive Manager of the Month award and one which he fully deserves.

"The Addicks completed yet another unbeaten month in February and further strengthened their push towards automatic promotion."

The judging panel comprises former Charlton Athletic manager Alan Curbishley, Sky Sports Football League expert Peter Beagrie, Football League Chief Operating Officer Andy Williamson, BBC Sport's Mark Clemmit, League Managers Association Deputy CEO Olaf Dixon and npower Head of Sponsorship Emma Collins.
